Financial institution customers expect access to their accounts anytime, anywhere. This expectation extends beyond online banking today to the rapidly growing mobile channel. S1 Mobile Banking enhances your multichannel financial services offering as a natural extension of S1 Personal Banking. Through S1 Mobile Banking, customers will be able to securely check account balances, transfer funds between accounts, view recent transactions and pay bills. The easy-to-use menus and screens enable all consumers with Internet-enabled mobile phones* to manage their own finances, even when they are away from a branch or their personal computer.

S1 Mobile Banking gives your customers the freedom and security of accessing their accounts from their mobile device, while leveraging the strength of the S1 Personal Banking solution.

  • Self-service real-time enrollment: customers sign on to online banking, select Mobile Banking and enter their mobile phone number. An SMS (text) message is sent to their mobile device welcoming them to mobile banking and notifying them that their access has been activated.
  • Personalized security: access to the customer's accounts is protected by a mobile ID and mobile PIN that they select during enrollment. Customers can also sign on through online banking and disable access to mobile banking if they lose their mobile phone.
  • Account balances: accounts available through online banking will also be viewable from a customer's authorized mobile phone.
  • Mini-statements: recent transactions will be displayed to give an accurate picture of each account.
  • Transfers: customers can make transfers between their online banking accounts using the buttons and menus displayed on their mobile phone.
  • Bill payment: customers can make online bill payments from the mobile device
  • Integrated application management: S1 Mobile Banking is integrated into the S1 Enterprise Platform. The S1 Application Manager enables your customer service representatives and system administrators to seamlessly manage your Internet products and view customer activity for support needs. Financial institutions have the flexibility to roll out mobile access by class of service, extending their customer segmentation strategies further.
  • Advanced technology: mobile services are built using proven technology that has been enabling mobile transactions since 2002.
  • Hosting: S1 Mobile Banking will be available on both a hosted and on-premise basis to support financial institution preferences.
